Accommodation

This section of the site gives some details of the accomodation you will find in this beautiful cottage in Morbihan, Brittany which sleeps 4 to 6 people.
Dining area- for dining and chatting! The entrance door leads into a large farmhouse style dining/kitchen area with blue and pine Shaker- style kitchen units. The kitchen is fully equipped and although there is an electric cooker, there is also a Coste wood-burning stove/cooker, if you want to try your hand at cooking on a range. The dining area, like the kitchen, is bright and cheerful, with beautiful Breton wooden fire surround over the Villager wood-burner. There is a  CD player and a brand new Active Speaker system for your MP3 player. There is also a walk-in pantry and the ceiling is oak-beamed.
Upstairs lounge with brand new "clic-clac" sofa bed- really comfy! An open plan staircase leads from dining area to a tasteful open plan lounge area with exposed beams  and stone wall. Although it is a little dark at the moment, permission has been granted to fit 2 Velux windows. The lounge area has been comfortably furnished with a settee and a brand new sofa bed; there is a home entertainment system which comprises a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with satellite box, DVD and surroundsound speakers. Heating is provided by a radiator.
Upstairs bedroom.Leading off from the lounge is a bedroom with a large wooden-framed double bed. Ventilation and light come via a small Velux type window and a radiator provides the heating . There is also an en-suite shower room with part-tiled shower, basin, toilet and radiator.
An open-plan staircase from the dining area leads you down to the lower ground floor hallway with beamed ceiling and small double-glazed French doors, which lead to the side gardens. There is a large old- fashioned radiator in the hallway and at this point I would like to point out that the house benefits from oil-fired central heating throughout and extensive insulation.
House bathroom- the "jacuzzi" bathLeading from the hallway there is the "house bathroom" and the master bedroom.
The house bathroom comprising: hydro bath, large power shower, toilet and vanity unit with basin. Heating is provided by a large cast iron radiator and there is also a heated towel rail.
The large master bedroom has a large wooden framed double bed with 2 built-in double wardrobes, dressing table and blanket box. The ceiling is wooden beamed and heating is provided by another old-fashioned radiator.
The large "master bedroom"Outside:The pretty 600 sq m garden area is pretty well south facing and an ideal place in which to spend time, reading, relaxing or making the most the opportunity to eat outside. Immediately in front of the house is a circular paved patio with small table and chairs, ideal for outdoor breakfasts.
During the summer months you can dine al fresco in the south-facing garden dipping into the fridge, handily located in an outhouse next to the barbie, for another bottle of ice-cold beer or some more chilled white wine!
Breakfast patio on a sunny day.Between the patio and BBQ area is a small pond.
The lower patio provides a shaded, undercover outside dining area and a built-in BBQ, chiminea and lighting.
There is a small parking area next to the house and room to park on the grass verge on the road outside the house.
